You know, if this was happening on a LAN, you would break out the frame
sniffer and see what was really going on at the wire level. Is there such a
thing as a WLAN frame sniffer so you could trap 10 seconds of activity and
look for over-the-air disassociate frames and speed-shift directives and
such?

Just a thought...

Dave

I have sectors and NO did not have overlapping channels in the beginning I
did and it worked 10 times better then it does now. Right now I have both
units on chan 3 and it is somewhat better yet still not like it should be.

Come on I mean I should NOT be getting 400 plus MS pings to a radio less
then 4 miles from the tower and a 1 person is on surfing right now. I just
tired having only those to radios associate to the tower and gee it works
fine let everyone else on one by one and the problem appears as I add all
the users on one by one it gets worse.

Have you tried channels 1 & 6 instead of 4 & 7? Channels 1, 6, & 11 should
always be used for a 3 AP config unless they cannot be for some reason. Or
any 2 channel combination of the 3 for a 2 AP setup. In the eveny you have
to use channels that have overlapping frequencies it is best to use sector
antennas with proper separation between sectors. Overlapping frequencies
with overlapping coverage is very bad.
