I have a SmartOS box that has been running well for quite some time. I updated the USB stick to the current SmartOS and it just hangs after getting to the boot screen where SmartOS reports the OS version (right after the grub screen). I've also tried the recovery boot options (no install) with the same result.
I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience and also if there's something I can do to get past this hanging? I even tried a slightly older version of SmartOS with no luck. Thanks, -- Greg J.
