I just started using it for smartmachines simply on the basis that there's
shorter time between provisioning to config mgmt running. The Ruby bloat to
get Chef kicked off was simply a killer, as much as I love the chef
ecosystem.

I'll likely have things to share when I get to refining it more, but so far
it's gone smoothly.
