Like many other people, I have a fairly large collectionof commercial DVDs and also a large number of back-ups stored on DVD. I always make two copies of the back-ups in case one gets damaged, but these are all the same age.
Does anyone know how long DVDs last before they begin to degrade? How do you know if they are degrading?
