Thanks, I know LaTeX, but it is far too complicated for many people. You'd be surprised, but many of the students (and professional translators), use Word as typewriter. Some of them can't even use Find and Replace. Track changes is sci-fi. So, I don't want to complicate matters. There are 2 CATs that are no more than macros for Word and due to MS phasing out VBA (we lost one for Mac), both are migrating towards stand-alone programs. Translators are panicking, because, for them, leaving the comfort zone offered by Word is stressful. They refuse to learn these programs. You have no idea how technophobes translators are. And increasinly this is a profession that requires a high degree of techie knowledge. Get it? If we do not find a solution for this, that does not entail convoluted conversions and reconversions, we might as well revamp the module.
