We have used Indesign for the few years as Quark was so expensive to upgrade
and we need 3 copies of the programme at JAC design. Took up a special very lo
price Indesign offer (it also had nested style sheets that saved us hours of
work that Quark did not have). We love indesign and we had found Quark company
so uppy. We never upgraded from Quark 4.
1. You could get a trial version of Indesign and try but it is hard to go from
one programme to another if you are not used to them.
2. Have tried a different font? Maybe the font you are using is corrupt.
3. Have you tried selecting all text when this odd thing happens and making it
into the same size font, say the font for some reason goes too large to fit
into the text box it would behave as you say then!
