Carole

I have just done what you suggested. I brought in a "story" from
TextWrangler to QuarkXPress 6, and then applied a brand new "Body"
Style Sheet. The same thing happened: after a paragraph or so, the
remaining text jumped over the next two textboxes and disappeared on
the third textbox, leaving only the little red "overflow" sign.

It's really odd. I am beginning to think that there is something
wrong with my CD of QuarkXPress 6, and I am hoping they will agree to
swap it for a new one.

Anyway, thank you very much, everyone, for all your help. I'm going
to give you a rest now, but I'll let you know if Quark agrees to
replace my CD.
