Hi Paul Yes I do agree with you on both counts.
I use an Intel iMac which has a hard drive of 200 GB. Because I do a lot of video editing amongst other things I keep most of my data on external hard-drives and for me it works very well. A FireWire external hard drive, or two, or three is a very good thing. I'm just counting mine and I have eight in total.
