Has anyone on the group made head or tail of the availability of the new iPhone 3GS to existing owners, especially those on contracts?
O2 website is pretty vague, as was their response to my direct e-mail. As far as I can see you can only obtain the new phone when taking out a new contract, so if you are in the middle of an existing contract (as I am) then hard luck. Pay as you go are available as from next week at the usual extortionate prices but won't have all the features available as if you were on a contract (tethering etc). Am i missing something....? or are Apple/O2 only really looking for new customers?
