I'm often wishing I could do this. Sometimes I'm preparing something
that requires a series of messages to be sent at the right time (eg to
students about registration) and it can be easier to do them all in
advance and not worry about remembering to send them from 'drafts' etc
or you could do your Xmas card list all year as you think of people,
and schedule them:-)
