My beautiful new (4 month old PowerBook) has now died. No life in it at
all. First signs of sickness : screen said not charging, then green light
went out, then computer died. To my inexperienced mind, this seems
something to do with power/battery and needs expert repair. Am I right? Is
a genius bar best place to go? Or should I ring Apple Care as it is under
guarantee? My other question to smuggers is : how do I use MY BOOK backups
on my old G5 which fortunately is still functioning (just). Which bits
should I drag over - what I need are documents, contacts, diary.
Fortunately email is not a problem as I use gmail which is internet
based. Advice would be much appreciated.
