Well, yes and no! ...the iPhone does not plug into iPhone.

But the mi-fi creates a wi-fi network - your iPhone can then connect to the internet using that wi-fi network.

Would not recommend 3 network (poor coverage) but that hardware on another network (say, Vodafone) would be superb IMHO.
