All, Does anybody know of an application that will strip out unnecessary carriage returns in a Word (or rtf or text) document. A translator has supplied me some copy in which they've inserted lots of unnecessary carriage returns, presumably in order to make the column width look like the finished document layout. Of course it's now a painful nightmare to drop the new text into InDesign.
