Hey Mark, You are correct in being able to connect from your Virgin router (please turn of the wi-fi on this one) and then connect an ethernet cable to your TC (preferably in the WAN though) and you'll be able to create a wireless network with 'Double NAT' which shouldn't be an issue for a local home network.
I would recommend that you try to place the Virgin modem in bridge so it's modem only and then connect from one of the virgin LAN-ports to the TC WAN-port and then create a network, this way you wont have to change anything in the TC at all. I wouldn't recommend having two wireless basestations close to eachother competing about the airspace, then I would recommend getting one of the dual band time capsules/airport extremes as they can create two networks themselves and in my experience are very much stronger than the older models. I hope this helps, Nicklas Mikkelinen On Thu, Apr 29, 2010 at 8:21 AM, Mark Schofield < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I have a Time Capsule for all my networking, wired and wireless.
