Is there any other way?

I could spend out on the powerline kit if I need to... a second 15m
cable back from the TC to the bluray would be a bit of a nuisance...

This switch from Maplin: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=286620
would only do as you have written (attach to first device) would it?
