If your Mac's running slow, open Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor > 
sort by CPU% (descending) > look at the processes at the top of the list to see 
which ones are using the most CPU time. If nothing jumps out as running high, 
sort the list by real memory usage, then see if anything is using a lot.

If you have a process called PremierOpinion using 99% then you've picked up a 
possible spyware app while downloading a screensaver, search your Mac for 
"premieropinion" and you should find an uninstaller.
