If you're looking to save weight, and depending on what you want this for, you
might consider an iPad. It runs with a keyboard and is much lighter and has
much better battery life than any Mac portable. Then you could wait and see
what becomes available as a desktop or a portable. My wife is finding her iPad
wonderful for email, and Pages runs on it. I've tried Keynote, but the iPad
version doesn't do well with the way I use transitions.
