sorry, something bugged me and I realised I had forgotten what I was
intending to say in the earlier post. What I should have written was
"are you SURE you have reset the SMC?" because you have to hold those
keys down for a few seconds (5?) but I have found that actually 10 is
more effective, no idea why. If you haven't held them down for a count
of 15, try that.
