No Sam, My partner has got the same issues re mail. I am using 10.4 (mail on
both machines is set up exactly the same way) on my emac receiving and sending
mail is without problems. I don't think Mail in 10.6 likes more than about
four email addresses; I have 35! What port are you using in your email
client? In mail preferences and in advance I have port 110 in operation on both
machines. I got this laptop so I can collect my mail on the move; that it is
why it so important for me. I have smtp addresses for O2 (at home) Three (out
and about) and The Cloud (if I am eating and/or drinking in the Spoons).

Best, Peter
