sounds like the three finger thing. Try double tapping with three fingers.
hang on, that's iPhone (I think but have left it just in case);)
it's the zoom - hold down control and swipe with one finger.
or pinch with two.
Tiggers have always tested things you didn't know about on computers...!
You said you've tried endless but not specified them. if these don't
work, please specify to save us all time guessing...
