Thanks. Good to know about the non-destructive modifications.

What I am looking for is something that does what iphoto was designed to do, 
right fro the start, but which it seems to have some problems with: to have 
collections of thumbnails arranged in a catalogue. Click on the thumbnail to 
see the image full size. So it's a way of organising photos.

All the bells and whistles are great, but the key is the role as an organiser 
of images in thumbnails.
