I used Nisus Writer with the classic OS. It was, and I'm sure still is, a truly superb word processor. The best thing about it is that it has a very powerful GREP search/replace and of course you can create Macros in Perl. However.... Do you really need those abilities in a word processor? Today I'm using Pages because it is a joy to use and it is so good at opening and saving MS Word documents.
