that really was their big contribution. I remember when the only apps that offered unlimited undo were Nisus and (then) BBEdit....ah, those were the days;)

Not crashing was also a bonus...

Nisus did my head in when they charged us for the switch to Express with the promise that this was the New Nisus, then they hoisted it up again to Pro. I wasn't the only one who felt my wallet was being hammered. And with Express 1.0, we only really got the basics (they actually bought another fledgling WP for OS X, whose name I can't remember, though I remember the typewriter icon...;)). We were told this was just the start and paid up in trust after a lot of languishing on their part. I remember the old Nisus list was very unhappy for a long time.

But it's still probably the best WP out there if you don't need to work with others and don't mind the genre of WP design.
