Howdy, My partner has a Macbook, fairly new but has been battered around a bit. She's going nuts as the following is happening:
"Essentially the cursor is selecting things without instruction meaning my computer is next to useless. - either using the trackpad OR a mouse, it is impossible to select and move around the desk top as normal, the cursor goes where it wants to. It opens, closes and moves files around whilst i am typing or whilst i am trying to do something else - it is near impossible to write an email as half way through the sentence it will suddenly jump and start writing on a different line, or hilight text or act as if i have right clicked when i havent. Even when moving from line to line using the arrow keys it still jumps around and hilights text. I have repaired disk utility, emptied trash, closed all programmes and this still happens. It gets moderately better for ten minutes after i have restarted AND shut down but then goes back to being crazy. PLEASE HELP!"
