Thanks Sam,

Yes it's a plastic jobbie. Its the same one thats been having the trackpad 
problems as previously mentioned in a post a couple of weeks ago = it wont 
click but u can tap. I think it's on it's last legs. it's done well mind you. 
How much roughly for a new top case and are they easy to fit as we're in 
Thailand, plus cant really do without it.
