As Chris, I'm a MobileMe jumper, no problems. I use it for iTunes, apps, documents and the find my friends thing (when the family is out somewhere, the two kids can run off with one parent in tow each and we can find each other easily later). Don't use it for mail/contacts/calendars (use Gmail on an exchange account) but my wife does and hasn't noticed any problems.
We also back up our phones via iCloud. I'll continue with it, no hesitation in recommending.
