You could always upgrade to a Seagate Momentus XT, with 8GB SSD cache. It'll 
speed up reading from the drive and consequently the entire machine. If you 
don't have a huge amount of data, a 256GB Crucial M4 is only £150 and will be 
lightning fast compared even to the Momentus XT.
