Hi, Is there a hybrid drive like the Momentus XT that would fit in my white intel iMac (core 2duo, 2.16GHz 3GB ram)? Or is this a bad idea?
Many thanks, Richard ________________________________ From: Sam - MacAmbulance <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, 26 September 2012, 19:21 Subject: Re: [sussex_mug] The need for speed You could always upgrade to a Seagate Momentus XT, with 8GB SSD cache. It'll speed up reading from the drive and consequently the entire machine. If you don't have a huge amount of data, a 256GB Crucial M4 is only £150 and will be lightning fast compared even to the Momentus XT.
