Where I lived in Hove, one of the network names that always appeared in those available was "Talk Talk are rubbish". Is that a helpful clue? ;)
Also, my partner was with TT when I moved in and were utterly useless when his broadband failed. It ended up with them threatening with bailiffs' letters for collecting unpaid bills. In then end after much explaining they dropped the entire case and wiped the fees. We're now with Zen - no problems. This may not of course answer your original question ...
