I agree it's an excellent update. Even our apps are fine, unlike in the simulator, they just lok as normal. I guess there is something in their code that recognises certain things in the apps to see if they have been updated for iOS7. If that's the case it's clever and very Apple, (or not Microsoft :)).
i love the way it all moves and like Adam says things aren't there for aesthetics, they are there for function, but they look great. The only thing I don't like are the muddy coloured backgrounds of the icon folders, a small thing. I also havent worked out how to change the background wallpaper. i can only seem to change the sleep/ awake wallpaper. I have to confess I was thinking of changing as Natalie's Android had an update ad it was very slick. This is slicker in my opinion though.
