In answer to your question, I am asked to authorise my computer. But I have 5 
already authorised, including old ones. I guess I should reauthorise all, and 
then authorise the one I'm using: but this one does not have my iTunes on it, 
so I am reluctant to do this before I get home (I'm at a conference). Perhaps 
this is what I should do: synch to a computer which is authorised, and then 
de-authorise all and authorise the recent ones? At which point I presume I can 
hope to download my iTunes library onto my iPad?

Advice and comments (including corrections of assumptions made above) most 
welcome! I've specially kept away from putting my tunes on my iPad till now, 
but life's conditions change!
