I'd agree with Sam. Definitely a Genius Bar thing but Genius obviously has a different meaning in Cupertino.
Obviously individual experience may vary but a friend recently had to have the screen replaced on a year old iMac and it came back with damage it didn't have previously and they tried to tell him that they wouldn't do anything about it as he'd accepted it back.
