I've found just using an external USB SSD as a start up works a lot better than
you'd expect if you don't want to mess with Velcro got a Mac mini 2006 still
nimble with that set up.

or I prefer self-adhesive velcro and secure with Kapton tape, the iMac has its
own thermal sensor which sticks onto the SSD to provide the temperature and
