Unless you’ve having specific issues with a router there’s usually no need to 
replace it but Asus routers do appear to be very good, their ADSL/VDSL models 
will connect to any DSL connection (copper or fibre) and have the option to 
turn one of the ethernet ports into a WAN port (for virgin media/cable 
broadband).
