There do seem to be a few random bugs associated with the M1 Mac Mini
(such as random restarts about once a day, another irritant). Next time
it pops up I will be sure to write it down, but I'm sure it said
software update (and iCloud seems to be behaving, but perhaps they are
related).

Jason,
I remember having this irritant on our M1 mac mini. What I can't
recall
is how we disappeared it. I think had something to do with iCloud
asking for password but I may be confused as at the time I was trying
to get the Mac mini running from an external SSD.
I'll check my notes later today to see if i noted what I'd done.

Hi folks,
It seems that every day I get a very simple dialog box asking for my
admin password for Software update (M1 Mac mini). I don't have a
screenshot (until tomorrow!) but it's starting to annoy me, though
not
to the point of turning off auto update. Does anyone know how to make
it
remember or is this the new normal?
Cheers,
Jason
