My M1 Mac mini hasn’t had freezes as yet. I’m wondering if it could be something to do with Rosetta translation as so far I’ve avoided the need to run an Intel-translated app.
Having said that I do find OS updates ridiculous - slow and uncertain as to what is happening. And I’ve yet to get overnight updating to work at all. By way of contrast I’ve just updated our Raspberry Pi 400 to Big Sur and that happened like lightning compared to macOS updates. Actually updating Twister OS from 1.9.7 to 2.0.0 which includes a Big Sur UI option. -- Tony Crooks [email protected] +44 7428 706227 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
