I backup my iPhone to iCloud using my Apple ID, automatically, every day. If you don’t have a backup I suggest you need one.
Do an extra backup, wipe the iPhone and then you can do a restore from the backup. Settings> (Your name, at top)> iCloud> iCloud Backup> move the toggle to on and select “Back Up Now” I think the basic Apple ID iCloud account is free for the first 5GB of storage. If I’m wrong I’m sure someone will correct me.
