I'm not going to cast that stone.  I will say that in the case in the news
the man should get a divorce from his wife and marry the girlfriend *before*
having children with her, but that's primarily based on my belief that sex
outside of marriage is forbidden by God.  I'm not going to fault someone
whose spouse is permanently checked out for getting on with their
life...it's a decision I hope I never have to face.
