and how many 8 yr olds do you know that have money for fines? how is he gonna learn from a parent dishing out money?
The way any 8 y/o would do it. The parents pay the fine, the 8 y/o does chores to repay the parent.
I think there is a major diffrence between an 8 yr old child and a 19 yr old adult.If the kid gets away with stuff like this at 8 and is never taught any differently, then he will assume he can still get away with it at 19.
