Oh...also..
Try connecting the laptop directly to the
router via a cable (directly to the Ethernet port in the laptop) instead of
using the wireless. If it works like you expect it to then, you have
narrowed your problem to your network settings for the wireless card in your
notebook.

I can't sign on to AOL with my
laptop but it tells me in my network connections I have a strong
connection.
