Possible but I did not think they move that much.
What servos are you using? This is likely be due to drift in the servos. I use Hitec HS81s and HS85s and one or more usually need retrimming each flying day.
Digital servos may be less vulnerable to drift but they cost about twice as much.
I have HS-85MG on the wing and HS-125 on the V-tail. Yes, they are not Futaba. The tail surfaces are OK. just the ailerons and flaps.
Are you sure this is a radio problem? It sounds more like an issue with pushrods to me.
Nylon/plastic pushrods have a tendency to untrim themselves due to temperature
fluctuations, especially from an air-conditioned house/basement/car to a hot field. It
can be a bit baffling at times (and more so if it happens in the air :) )
As for pushrod, these are all metal clevis with soldered one on one end and threaded one the other end. The pushrod itself is the metal 4-40 (?) size from your major hobby company. and they are only 4 inches long.
Must be the radio, right? the saga continues.....
