I think the issue is simply that it's easier to toggle the flight mode
switch with your left hand then it is your right.  I fly an 8UAFs with the
camber/reflex switch on the right side.  While it's not difficult to use,
it would be more convenient if the switch were on the left.  I don't even
fly TD, so launching isn't really an issue...it's just a nicer bit of
ergonomics.
