Landings are getting an unfairly bad rap, imo.  A
precision landing implies good flying and practicing
landings is as delightful as any other part of of the
task.  

Be ready to launch on a shortened histart soon after
dawn and set the talking timer to 1:05.  You can get
20 in before work.  The serenity of flying in the
still morning air is very hard to beat and afterwards
you can easily smile your way through corporate crap
until lunch time.  It's better than Xanax.

Doing this for a year allowed me to become one of
those folks that most days make some landing points. 
It's also strange and interesting just to watch
yourself learning how to solve such a hard problem.
