I'd like to know more about the wifi ferry. Do you have anything online about your setup?
What's the range and coverage of the backhaul? I assume the ferry travels a generally direct path between two points. Do you use directional antennas on each side of the bay? Thanks! We have a WiFi enabled ferry in the Bay area that is working fine. It has WiFi on board, and a WiFi backhaul link (by the way, shots to moving targets are a lot more challenging). Andras Bellak
