They're protecting their assets. There's ways around it if you're
that bent on using both machines, but that's still a *fringe* request,
as I'm sure 99% of their users want access *on one machine*.

So, why is it I get someone asking me if I can share my password at
least once a month? (This also makes me wonder why you bother with
T-Mobile, as well.)
