The yellow pole that you see is a paint pole with the end of the handle cut
off. It fits perfectly over the tripod pole for extra height.

I normally bring 1 or 2 panel antennas and 1 or 2 omnis for testing.

I run the AP from an inverter powered by a gel cell battery. I'll bring an
extra battery or two as well. Consider a GPS if you will be doing anything
over any distance. Also, bring sunscreen, hat and water for outdoors.
