Thing about cell phones is that often (at least here in the UK) they come "free" with a contract. We just upgraded 2 at no cost to 3G with digital cameras. I can't say I use a phone except for making calls. I don't even use text messaging never mind the camera and I have a digital camera anyway. So if they said have a phone that is just a phone and we'll reduce your bill 10% I probably would do that. If they say it doesn't matter which phone you have you pay the same I get one with a lot of features I don't use. Software is a bit different because there is at least a performance penalty for additional features, more expensive hardware needed etc. > Maybe this is market forces driving things, but just because they are > out there doesn't mean people want them. Some people don't want them, many people do or at least think they do. Its like ring tones. I really can't understand why people pay dollars for a 20 second ring tone but they do. To me they must have more money than sense but its their choice I suppose. -- Ian Lynch <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ZMSL
