With 1.33 OpenBSD boots fine (i.e. without any delay) from a
SanDisk SDCFB-4096.

I have no observed problems at all when booting OpenBSD after
the upgrade. However, I would like to suggest some improvements
for the next releases:

1. The date in the net5501 flavour of the comBIOS is 20070103;
this typo can be a bit confusing for people using the date on
the comBIOS to identify a release. It is right on the net4801
version of the comBIOS. I have not checked the net4501 one.

2. Same about the date in the Soekris copyright for the comBIOS
(it reads 2000-2007 instead of 2000-2008).

3. "Mhz" should be really "MHz", this typo hurts someone with a
   background in fundamental physics. ;-)

4. May I suggest renaming "CpuSpeed" to "CPUspeed"? (just as in
   "BIOSentry"); CPU is an acronym.

Returning to the matter on this thread, I have no seen any regresion
when booting OpenBSD from a SanDisk CF card. However, I must say
that I got the SDCFB-4096 because it was the supported CF with less
features. I plan to run both net5501 computers from hard disk and
use the CF cards as installation media to upgrade the system locally,
without using a tftp/dhcpd setup for fresh installs or one of the
network-based installation methods provided with OpenBSD.

I had some problems in the past when using high-end SanDisk CF cards
on a net4801 computer that *has* a HDD installed on it.

No need to say it, though, but thank you very much for providing
updates for the net4501 and net4801 computers too. It is nice
to see how great is support for the older boards yet!

Igor.
