Same problem here.
Seems the card does not sample L and R channel at the same time, but
one after the other. I think this results in a delay of half a sample
time.
I did some phase/amplitude measurements of the audigySE and MP3 cards:

The rocky 1.5 software does solve this problem with the -1 sample
option in the soundcard settings. I did not find out how it's done.
