 Ciao Claudio,

  well, measurements on the group delay of crystal filters have been
done in the past, and moreover I suspect that they are much dependent
on the specific model of the filter. Anyway what could be measured is
the impulse response of the filter, and from it characterize its
frequency and time related behaviors.

What cannot be measured however is the subjective effect that the
group delay has on the perceived quality and "cleanliness" of the
audio, short of implanting a few electrodes in the brain of the
listener... but I am not volunteering for that....:-)
